Room layouts change, and a radiator that once sat quietly in the corner can become an obstacle after a renovation or furniture move. Our custom radiator relocation service moves an existing radiator to a new position in the same room or a different one. We drain the relevant part of the system, disconnect the radiator, and extend or alter the pipework to reach the new location. The wall at the old position is left ready for making good, and the radiator is rehung and reconnected with new brackets where needed.
The relocation process:
- Isolating and draining the radiator
- Removing the unit and old brackets
- Altering the pipework to the new position
- Rehanging and refilling the radiator
